THE SILENCE WHEN YOU HAVE CHILDREN AND ITS CONSEQUNCES

“When you had a busy day destroying your parent’s house.”

I will tell you a few moments of silence that happened to me during motherhood and which taught me that silence with children always means danger. https://littlepuzzlesandme.com/ordinary-mornings-by-boss-baby/

The first story of dangerous silence

Dorothy was about a year old when she found my makeup bag and applied the brown eye shadow to herself, to the bathroom rug, and to the bathtub. I didn’t have time to clean up, because I was already late after washing Dorothy. Around 2 p.m. I got a call from my husband why the whole bathroom is covered in poop.

The second story of dangerous silence

My husband and I left smoked bacon crisps on the living room table. Our two-year-old was the first one up in the morning and went for the crispy bacon. When he got thirsty, he came to wake us up. He was all yellow, even his hair was yellow, and he smelled like bacon from a mile away.

The third story of dangerous silence

I was in my second pregnancy when I could fall asleep sitting up, then my son took advantage of the situation and smeared cream on all the teddy bears’ bottoms.

The fifth story of dangerous silence

Patrick helped me a lot with hanging the laundry. He had his own little drying rack where he hung his socks and small things. I left him with it and went to pee. Of course, I had a second wash that I put in quickly. Only when hanging them out did I realize that I had already hung up these pants once. Patrick put the washed clothes again back into the washing machine.

The sixth story of dangerous silence

Dorothy, being two years old, took out Patryk’s scissors and cut off her hair from half of her head, it was shorter on one side and longer on the other.

The seventh story of dangerous silence

For two days I was looking for my cute cushions in the living room, and finally, my neighbor brought them to me because she found them in her yard. Probably my kids threw the pillows off the balcony.

The eighth story of dangerous silence

The most dangerous silence was when I was preparing dinner and my kids found my wallet and hid the cards that so far we have not found. When I applied for new cards at the bank and gave the reason for renewing them, the lady was not surprised at all.

The ninth story of dangerous silence

I still can’t understand how such tiny hands and feet can work so fast. It only took a minute for my son to throw my glasses down the toilet. It only took a moment for my daughter to spill sugar on my laptop keyboard. And my purse, once within the reach of my children, is filled with toys and, at worst, sticky substances.

Summary of the history of dangerous silence

Some of the stories that emerged from the sudden silence even made me laugh, but most were devastating. The worst thing is that even a minute of silence seems like an eternity to children. In this minute of silence, they can destroy a lot.
In my house, sudden silence during children’s play always meant danger. The silence was caused by creating artistic pictures on the walls, sticking plasticine to hair, hiding food in clothes cabinets, cutting holes in clothes, etc.

This is probably just the beginning of the stories that arise in dangerous silence, and which as a parent of two children I constantly experience.
