What decorations do children create from dried flowers?
“Today’s children need to spend more time with art and even more time with their parents.”
In the creative corner not only my children today but also me. Together we will create a DIY project that will help us move from Christmas decorations at home to universal decorations. As for January, we do not have much choice in the natural gifts of nature, so we will use spring and summer resources: dry leaves, chestnuts, dry flowers, grasses, and herbs. https://littlepuzzlesandme.com/how-do-children-make-art-from-leaves/ Everything that my „little puzzles” managed to bring home.
I always write that my children collect tons of treasures from joint walks. But I found myself doing it too. We just love natural decorations at home. And we like to spend time creating DIY according to our concepts.
The flowers I receive from time to time often include cute little collectible accessories such as wooden butterflies, ladybugs, decorative bows, decorative nets, etc.
Only these kinds of materials will be used in our flower decoration. We don’t have to buy anything and I hope you don’t either.

DECORATION WITH DRIED FLOWERS
What my little puzzles don’t need?
DISTURBING PARENTS
It’s wonderful to create together with children. Painting leaves is also so easy for the little ones to do. I could watch with joy how Dora is doing great with this project. Unfortunately, the creative idea is one of those dirty ones, because the whole painting process ends with painted hands, clothes, and everything around. You can disturb the children from time to time and clean the table with wet wipes.

Let’s start the process of creating a new DIY table decoration:
1. Paint the dry leaves in your favorite color. Patrick’s favorite color is blue and Dora this time chooses yellow.
2. Leave them to dry.
TIPS:
*Better paint the day before and let them dry.
3. While the painted leaves dries, prepare the products you want to use for decoration:
– dry flower
– chestnut
– unweave mesh bows, fabric bows
– little lights
4. Find a vessel to put the ornaments in. For us, it was a jar of olives.
5. Wrap the jar with decorative material.
6. Insert into jar little lights. It will give a beautiful effect at night.
7. Put the chestnuts inside – they will hold flower stalks.
8. Put into a jar how many dried flowers, herbs, and grass you like.
9. Add leaves painted by children.
