What can you easily create from plastic bottles and straws?

Temperature records are broken every day in August. Children swim in pools and rivers; even after playing on the playground, they immediately run to the shower to cool down.
In such heat, the project “FUNNY WATER DISPENSER” is created. Very quick to make, without sweating on hot days.
At the end of the project, you can cool down with a glass of cold water with lemon from our dispenser.

I would like to add once again that implementing this DIY project does not involve excessive costs, such as shopping trips. The basic elements used in your project are recycled materials: a plastic bottle and a straw.

What will we use for an unplanned mess?

• wet wipes
• kitchen paper rolls

Let’s start the process of creating a funny water dispenser:

1. Cut colour paper in half (A4 pages size) to cover around bottle.

2. Use the hot glue gun to stick paper around bottle.

3. Cut out details of the animals( my kids choose elephant): ears, mouth and eyes

TIP:
Wiggly eyes are funnier.

5. Glue the whole prepared details of the plastic bottle.

6. Make a small hole with scissors to place the straw there.

7. Draw elephant legs.

8. Cut the straw to fit the width of the bottle.
9. Insert the straw into the hole in the bottle and the children’s toy is ready.
