We welcome the New Year – 2025, still in the cold and snow. My children, probably like all of us, miss the sun and colors. So we stay at home longer. We paint, draw and decorate, because after 2 hours outside our hands are frozen. Fortunately, we did not run out of ideas, only colors, so we focused on the spring theme. How do little children make a Valentine’s day card?
My “little puzzles” started their Valentine’s Day creation frenzy in January. One day my children visited a craft store with their grandmother. They brought home lots of heart-shaped stickers, plush balls, and flowers to cut out, all in red and pink, of course. The youngest, DorA, bought new pink glue. In total, it has 6 pieces and new paints.As usual, we were supposed to do a Valentine’s Day project that Patrick chose, but Dora focused on painting her hands, gluing everything, and creating a Valentine’s Day mess. What do children create on Valentine’s Day?
My “little puzzles” started the Valentine craze during the winter holidays. The power of creation has also passed to my goddaughter and in a creative corner, we will present as many as 3 artistic crafts.
