THE CHARMS OF MY CHILDHOOD

“Childhood is a short season to be enjoyed not rushed.”

Eat ice cream with my dog.
Try a green strawberry or gooseberry.
Eat cherries with pits. If you don’t eat cherries with pits, shoot them at your friends.

Play in the mud, in the water, in the tall grass all day long.
Play rubber, play class. Peekaboo outside in the evening. https://littlepuzzlesandme.com/mountains-legend/

Make a soup of mud, sand, flowers, leaves and grass.
Eat sorrel, chives, radishes, parsley, or anything from grandma’s garden.
Eating fruit from the neighbor’s garden.

Drink milk straight from the cow.
Eat carrots washed in the river.
Throw the stick at the tower of empty cans.

Throw a plum on granny’s roof.
Find a little snail or a little frog and build houses for them.
Catch the butterfly.

Dam the river so we can swim.
Build fortresses from branches and leaves and hide your treasures in them.
Swinging on the branches.
Cycling without holding the handlebars.
Riding on bags and plastic boards in winter.

Feel the taste of bitter dandelion, the sweet taste of wild rose.
Purchase of one lemonade for 6 people.
Eating one packet of sunflower seeds for 6 people.

In my childhood, there was a lot of joy, friendship, simple games and simple food.
One defended the other, one shared everything with the other.
One always helped the other to get up, wipe the tears and wash the blood from the knee.

MY CHILDREN CHILDHOOD

I am very grateful for my childhood.
I am very happy when I see Patrick collecting grass and Dora bringing water to cook soup.
I am very glad that Dora has dirty feet because she usually runs without shoes.
I’m so happy to see Patrick’s dirty face made of wild strawberries found in the forest.

And they already know that nettle is painful and dandelions are bitter.
They know that bees or ants can bite them, so stay away from them.

And I love their little faces, legs, and hands that smell of adventure.
And I’m first in line to test their mud soup.
And first in line to his fortress of branches.
And first in line to put a band-aid on a broken knee.
And first in line to apply ice after being bitten by ants.

Childhood is a beautiful stage in which time does not play a role, in which the most beautiful memories are born.
Childhood is the time when a sip of lemonade tastes better than a whole bottle.
And in childhood, all that matters is fun, carefree, and a few berries found in the forest.
And a few friends with whom you will conquer the world.
