“One day you’ll miss the day with your little one” – I repeat to myself when I step on the block. “Cleaning is fun” is the biggest lie I’ve ever heard. And maybe you don’t believe me, but I try to pass on the same lie to my children. My dad used to say: “Cleaning up after the kids is like shoveling snow off the front steps, and then it snows again when you’re done.” Now that I have two children, I understand this wisdom even more.
