MY CHILDREN’S SLEEPING ROUTINE – IT’S A F**** JOKE
“YOU AND YOUR CHILD ARE READY TO LEARN NEW THINGS FROM THE VERY BEGINNING” I’m not among new parents and new moms anymore, but I try to write posts about parenting roles in a way that will make you laugh and give you a realistic representation of parental life. https://littlepuzzlesandme.com/with-the-witchs-advice-my-coffee-never-tastes-the-same/ I add posts about hardships and emotions with newborns. I hope they will be an educational form for you. The main episodes come from my own sincere parenting experiences. I affirm there are no basic rules for new moms and newborns. Theoretically, it may be, but in practice, this method doesn’t exist. As a new mother, I was addicted to reading…

A VOICE FROM THE HEART TO ALL PARENTS
I have kept this text in drafts for a long time. I returned to these entries many times, added new ones, and even more times the created uniquely sentences melted my heart. These are very simple notes, very honest, and probably most parents go through this. My text is filled with basic and sincere parenting experiences that we all know, but parents don’t talk about it out loud and don’t spread the word about it. When you are ready my dear parents, this post is especially for you. DEAR PARENTS, I know how difficult it is to stay calm, explain the same rules over and over again, and soothe children.…

DOROTHY – MY SPECIAL GIFT
“The struggle was part of my journey.” Dorothy means God’s gift. It is the name we chose for our daughter. You could say that making a baby is a minor matter, nothing difficult. 6 months of trial and boom, my brother’s wife is pregnant. All the women around at once, all pregnant too. And I had 4 years of trials and a wonderful time with my husband and nothing. Also, I gave up most family events because their questions were killing me: “What about you, don’t you want a baby?” “Aren’t you trying?” “How old are you?” – This one my the best. “Don’t you take a vacation? It will…

MY SON’S FIRST GOOD TRAINING
“Do you know what is the favourite part of your child’s activities? The opportunity to have FUN.” My brother is a soccer fan. Long before my baby was born, he was planning joint football training with this child. His dream came true because firstly I gave birth to a boy, and secondly, as soon as Patrick started to walk, you could see his love for football. In small steps, my brother played football with him very often. Patrick was happy that he could run out, and his uncle was happy, that Patrick ran for the ball into the bushes all the time. Regularly, every Saturday, we went to watch uncle’s training sessions. Of course, sometimes it…

LITTLE WALK WITH MY LITTLE CHILDREN
“It’s the children’s principle, that food tastes better outdoors and the best food comes from other children.” Sunday after breakfast, we are ready for a walk with the family. We secretly make a plan with my husband that we only go to parks, playgrounds, or other places for children, where there must be a Cafe next to it. We have everything perfectly prepared for a walk with the children and packed. My husband has ATM cards in his pocket because he doesn’t prefer a wallet. I have a small purse with a phone, tissues, keys, and a wallet. But when we look at the packed children’s things and our stroller, a…

NEW SLEEPING ROUTINE BY DOROTHY
“MYTHS ABOUT BABIES WHO SLEEP ALL NIGHT ARE LIKE MYTHS ABOUT PINK UNICORNS” I’M A BIG GIRL Hi, my name is Dorothy. I slept very well for the first year of my life. Everyone in my family praised me that this is how a child should be: eats, sleeps, eats, sleeps, and so on. I can sleep anywhere. In a stroller, in a car seat, in a crib, in my parent’s bed, my brother’s bed. I don’t like slings and carriers too much. Besides, Mommy also prefers a stroller because she says I’m a chubby baby. (3kg 450g / 7.60 pounds) I don’t understand why my brother has so much…

NEW SLEEPING ROUTINE BY PATRICK
“SAY HELLO TO NEWBORN AND GOODBYE TO YOUR PILLOW”. I AM IN THE RIGHT PLACE AND AT THE RIGHT TIME Hi, my name is Patrick, I haven’t slept a single night for the first three years of my life. My causes are not colic or teeth (the first ones fell out only after 10 months, very late, but also painless). I just didn’t sleep for no reason. I also didn’t like naps during the day. When I was one year old, I stopped sleeping in the Nursery, as the only one in the group. In the first weeks of my life, I pooped a lot often, after almost every feed,…

MOMMY AND DARK MAGIC
“YOU NEVER REALIZE WHAT YOUR MAGICAL POWERS ARE UNTIL YOU HAVE CHILDREN” I am a huge fan of fairy tales, I was before my children were born. The best one with a moral ending and with the significant sentence “they lived happily ever after”. What is the reason? Probably that my day in childhood ended with one bedtime story on tv, and that’s it, night, night. After my childhood experiences, I’m catching up by watching cartoons with children. And above all due to the fantastic quality of current fairy tales, the emotions that accompany me while watching them, are certainly greater than the emotions of my child. https://littlepuzzlesandme.com/my-new-face/ Which are my…

MOM’S TIPS FOR BETTER TRAVEL WITH CHILDREN-part 1
“OVERPACK. It’s why suitcases have wheels now”. I think that all of us already dream of a vacation. The times of one hand luggage and one paid luggage are long gone. Why? Because maybe I’m not the only one which packs the essentials and most important items in a small language, while my kids have the following stuff packed: panties, socks, pajamas, short sleeves, long sleeves, shorts, leggings, jeans, winter jackets, blouse, hats and preferable shoes for any change of weather. I don’t count their favourite teddy bears without which they will not fall asleep, bedtime stories, and all the necessary cosmetics for children. But packing is only a small…

CLEANING THEORY
“One day you’ll miss the day with your little one” – I repeat to myself when I step on the block. Cleaning is fun is the biggest scam I’ve heard and I’m trying to sell my kids the same trick. My Dad used to say: “Tidy up after children is like shoveling snow from the stairs at the entrance, and after finishing work, the snow falls again with double strength”. Now having two children, I support and appreciate this wisdom. How this wisdom works with me in real life 90% depends on the mood of my children. 10% depends on my power, my patience, but I think it’s best expressed as…
