What Christmas decorations do my children make from popsicle sticks?
“This is the best time of the year to create unforgettable decorations.”
We are two weeks away from Christmas. My little kids bring home Christmas decorations every day, which they make at school and Nursery. In children’s places, the Christmas tree is already decorated. In our home not yet, a slight delay this year. But we have more time to make decorations for the Christmas tree.
For all those who, like us, have not yet managed to decorate the Christmas tree, we will create snowflakes and a Christmas tree from popsicle sticks.
In addition, before Christmas, everyone is busy preparing Christmas dishes, shopping, and cleaning, so we leave the simplest and least labor-intensive projects for last. This is not our first DIY project with this material, but the first Christmas one. https://littlepuzzlesandme.com/how-do-children-make-airplanes-from-popsicle-sticks/
What little puzzles will be created today?
SNOWFLAKES AND CHRISTMAS TREES FROM POPSICLE STICKS
What my little puzzles don’t need?
DISTURBING PARENTS
I am sure that 2-5 years old children will not need your help with this project. My only role in this design was to draw the shape of the Christmas star.
What do my little puzzles need?
- full stomach
- drink near to them
- smile
- patience-only because they create together
- good energy
And everything on the list below:
☆popsicle sticks
☆stickers with diamonds (self-adhesive diamond tape worked best for us)
☆coloured constructions paper to make Christmas star or
☆star stickers
☆anything to help your kid create magic snowflakes and magic Christmas trees.
What will we use for an unplanned mess?
☆ wet wipes
☆ toilet paper
Let me show you how easy the process of creating this DIY project is:
1. Prepare the popsicle sticks, more popsicle sticks more fun.
2. Cut popsicles into small pieces for project snowflakes.
■ my kids cut the popsicle into smaller pieces because the smaller snowflake pattern looks the prettiest
3. Put sticker diamonds on popsicle sticks.
4. Draw the shape of a Christmas star.
TIPS:
■ stickers are the simplest idea for Christmas star
5. Stick a Christmas star on the Christmas tree.
6. Let your children choose the best style.
7. Check out our photos that will help your child with creation.
