LITTLE PUZZLE ART,  PROJECT FOR SMALL CHILDREN

How do children make pencil holder from toilet paper rolls?

“CREATIVITY IS HAPPINESS”

A long time ago I had a plan for my kids to clean the room and that plan wasn’t quite successful.

 Why did the plan fail?

Because during real cleaning they had more time to argue for the toys or play together with the toys they found. You can find more about my kids’ cleaning theory, which obviously doesn’t work perfectly, here https://littlepuzzlesandme.com/cleaning-theory/

After all, I decided to move with my children to a creative corner meanwhile find a solution to clear away little clutter from my son’s desk.

First I discuss with my older son, that his mainly useful things are pens, markers, scissors, and glue, so we will put them in a useful pencil holder, also avoid a mess on the desk and certainly pretty decorate his room.

What little puzzles will be created today?

What my little puzzles don’t need?

DISTURBING PARENTS

Help them only when they ask you. I have to admit, art is incredibly easy, and also more messy. Extremely dirty when “little puzzles” use acrylic paints for art. In all, you can see how they create together, help each other and have fun. This is much more important than perfect Kevin or Bob looks.

What do my little puzzles need?

  • full stomach
  • drink near to them
  • smile
  • patience-only because they create together
  • good energy

And everything on the list below:

☆tables cover

☆toilet rolls

☆acrylic paints, markers, crayons, everything you have at home that best suits your child

☆scissors (most of the time I help my daughter)

☆glue

☆wood or plastic sticks for applying

☆wiggly eyes stickers, but not necessary, children can draw

☆various colours of foam paper or construction paper

☆anything that will help your child to better decorate the Bob&Kevin pencil holder.

What will we use for an unplanned mess?

☆ wet wipes

☆ toilet paper

Let me show you how easy the process of creating Minion’s pencil holder is:

1. Paint the toilet roll half blue and half yellow.

TIPS:

*Much better paint first the blue, let them dry and after paint in yellow.

*Use a small amount of water, because the roll becomes softer.

2. Glue two, one, or more wiggly eyes onto your Minions.

3. Draw the mouth shape, and your child will choose the best style.

4. Any more details like a nose, or hair can be coloured or use foam paper.

5. Create your favourite pencil holder in your unique style.

6. Check out our photos that will help your child with creation.
